"My computer background before coming to ComputerTraining.edu was pretty much limited to recreational use. I was always interested in computers, and eventually started taking them a part, and working on them in my leisure time just for personal use. Then when my job at the bank hit a lull, I decided I wanted to change careers. I went online and took the ComputerTraining.edu entrance exam. I received a call the same day and decided to look into the school further. I did some research, met with the Director of Admissions, and then a few months later I enrolled.
I love everything about my new career. I enjoy working with computers, so it’s not even like I’m at work most of the time. Since I’m working at a Help Desk, every time I get a call, it’s generally about something that I would have been doing on my own computer. I’m constantly learning, because you never know what can go wrong with your computer, so you always have to be on your toes.
Before starting the class, I was afraid that I wouldn’t know what I was doing. I knew that I liked computers and could work with them for what I needed, but wasn’t sure that I would be able to pick everything else up quickly enough. But with the excellent teaching staff, I was able to stay right on pace.
I would tell incoming students that if they are looking for a career change, and enjoy working with computers, then this is an excellent way to get the knowledge you need and get your foot in the door for a career in IT.
Without ComputerTraining.edu, I would still be in a dead-end job, making much less than I am now. I also wouldn’t have the room for advancement that I have now. If I had tried to go into the IT field on my own, I would still be making much less. With the certifications, I am now taken seriously in the IT field and the opportunities are endless."

"My computer background is extensive, but in order to show my full potential I needed to get certified. Getting certified opened doors to more opportunities in the IT industry as well as helped me to earn a better income.
My biggest concern before entering the program was the tuition, but what helped me overcome that was to know that by getting certified I would be able to afford it as well as other needs that I had.
The advice that I would give to new students coming into ComputerTraining.edu would be to apply yourself because you only get out of it what effort you put into it. It has changed my life because now I can move forward as an IT professional!"

"All my computer training is self taught. I wanted to get into a computer job for a long time, but I just did not know how to go about it.
I went into the field and have come to enjoy it. I’m the only one at my position who has any type of certifications and the job has high hopes for my future within the company. Feeling like I’m something more than a warm body in the job is a great feeling.
To anyone entering the program, I would tell them to keep an open mind. If they don’t think they are understanding something, someone in the class will and they will help you. You will know more by the end of class than you ever think you could."

"I had taken a few computer classes in high school but I didn’t have any formal training in computers. I wanted a way to get my foot in the door for IT. The skills I learned at ComputerTraining.edu will help me move forward with my career.
My biggest concern was that I didn’t have what it took to work in IT. Now that I am certified and have a job, I think that this is something I can do.
Advice I would give to new students is read every chance you get and do the self test.
Thanks to ComputerTraining.edu I have the skills that I need to work in IT.

"My experience in the course has helped me better focus on learning the skills needed in order to obtain a higher paying job in the field. Having obtained my MCSA, I am now in a better position for advancement in my current job. This class has helped me learn new skills that I have already applied in my job. My advice to future students would be to take in everything at your own pace."

"I have been around computers for most of my life and I felt it was time to make a serious change in my life.
I was nervous that it may not have been for me and be a waste of money, however I have put in the work and it has been worth it. If you put the time and effort in, you will do great!"

"I already had a degree in Operations and Information Systems with an emphasis Information Systems before I decided to attend ComputerTraining.edu. I was in the IT field for a few years at my current employer and making decent money. However I slowly drifted away into an operations position due to changes within the company. I began dreading work and wanted to return to my passion in IT, but my expertise heavily relied on proprietary software. A change was needed, and I needed a way to get my foot back in the door of IT. I thought earning certifications would be a good path to take instead of being a jack-of-all-trades.
I made my choice to sign up at ComputerTraining.edu mainly because of how comprehensive it is and the Career Services they offered. It was a scary decision to make considering the cost and the time involved, but I have no regret. I have a new job that I love, and to make it more sweet, I earn more money now!
My best advice is to show up for every class, give 100% effort, listen to your instructor, and take advantage of the Career Services as they are incredible people."
