"Many of my previous jobs included customer service and communications skills. I had a lot of basic computer set-up knowledge, but not a lot of technical knowledge. I wanted to get certified, so that I could amplify my computer skills and work in an IT position where I could combine my technical knowledge with my computers skills.
I love my new job because I’m looked up to as someone who is knowledgeable source of information. I’m able to use my computer skills and talk to people all day. I’m doing everything that I want to do and am getting paid for it.
I was nervous before coming here because I was afraid that I would be learning things that I wouldn’t actually use in my everyday job. However, everything that you learn here, regardless oh how minimal it might seem, is something that you will need when working in IT.
New students should definitely take the program seriously. It is a lot of work, even if you think you know what you’re doing. Utilize the whole program any way you can, whether it be the instructor or the Director of Placement, they are all there to help you and will bend over backwards for you when necessary, as long as they see you’re trying as well.
Having the certifications are great because employers take you seriously and know that you are going to further yourself. Now, I’m doing something that I really enjoy and am working for a great company. It’s the first time that I can actually go to work with a smile on my face and know that I’m going to have a great day."

"I currently work in IT but needed the skills and education to further my career. I got great hands-on experience and the trainer was very professional and easy to understand.
I was able to apply the skills I learned to my current job and now my co-workers look to me for help instead of the other way around which is such a good feeling.
Best of all, I am now up for a promotion with the same company, as well as getting job offers for much better opportunities thanks to the Career services department. I could not be happier.

"I was self taught in building computers and was looking for a more rewarding career. There is plenty to learn in IT and I feared change of atmosphere and work load. Career Services and everyone at ComputerTraining.edu helped relieve my fears.
I suggest to other students to speak with the trainer or a regular basis as well as your classmates for assistance and experience.
Since I got my first certification, there are plenty of opportunities that have presented themselves to me for a more rewarding future."

"I have always been a motivated self-starter and was looking for a way to get my foot in the door in a rewarding, lifelong career. I felt coming into this that ComputerTraining.edu would give me my chance and my first step to real success in life. I knew that I had the brains, the dedication, and the courage to become something amazing, all I needed was the opportunity to prove it.
ComputerTraining.edu provided me with the basic skills to get started in a rewarding career in technology, along with the tools to keep advancing for years to come and many valuable contacts in the field. I always felt that my previous job was just that, a job, and not a career. I was unhappy, living paycheck to paycheck, and felt like I was going nowhere. Now, I’m in my career and have the best paying job I’ve ever had."

"I previously worked in the IT industry for over ten years. During this time I performed various functions but they were all obsolete technologies. I have really enjoyed my experience at ComputerTraining.edu and the job prospects that have started to come my way in just a short time.
My biggest concern upon entering the program was keeping up with the reading and studying. I have been out of school for a long time and I was worried that it would be difficult to develop good studying habits after so long. My advice for other students would be to study hard…that is what I did!
The ComputerTraining.edu team was terrific. I greatly appreciate all of their help and leadership throughout this whole experience. "
