"Before I came to ComputerTraining.edu I was scared to death about my present situation and my family’s future. I drove for a living and it wasn't paying the bills. I kept hearing the commercials for ComputerTraining.edu all day long. They kept saying how going to their school would change your life and the earning potential in the IT field is always growing. I thought about it for over a year and only wish that I would have jumped off that cliff and done it sooner!

There were times where I would sit in front of my books and cry, extremely frustrated to the point where I wanted it to stop. My teacher was always there for me and kept encouraging me that I could do it! I kept my children and the life I was fighting for in my mind and kept at it.... "it was the dragon I had to slay". When I graduated from ComputerTraining.edu I was on cloud nine! I started something special and I finished it! I could hold my head up high and the feeling of accomplishment was awesome!

A few months down the road my placement co-coordinator helped me to a job that pays nearly double what I was making before. I am now able to pay my bills with money left over to make those memories happen for me and my children. My husband has caught me sitting on the couch just smiling and staring into space... I can't believe it's happened to me... ME! I am so happy!

I am now working for a large company on a global project and I can say that I am part of that! I am appreciated for my hard work and I am getting paid what I'm worth. This is the start of my new life and I owe ComputerTraining.edu and their fantastic staff a huge thank you!"

"I was completely self-taught. I received a computer one year as a present and started playing around with it immediately. I loved it. Nobody in my family is computer (or any electronics) savvy, so it became my responsibility to take care of all of the technical needs for family and friends. And, I was good at it.

I had been working as an electrician for about six years before deciding to make a change. When I heard the commercial on the radio for ComputerTraining.edu, I had to take the Online Skills Challenge just to see what would happen. I'm so glad I did. Within a matter a months I was learning so much more than I thought I would and then I earned my first certification and I continued to build from there. I was extremely happy to be making this change in my life.

I love what I’m doing now and I have ComputerTraining.edu to thank for it. The staff is dedicated to making your goal, their goal. I checked into a few different routes about school and I felt that this was the best choice. It absolutely was for me!

If you are good with a computer, you will excel in the course. I am in a great position now. The Career Services department is there to help you find the job opportunity that will best suit you and they definitely found that for me. I am excited for my future, exceeding the requirements for the course, obtaining as many certifications as I can. I know I will continue to grow and advance within the IT field. I hope one day to be the best that I can be in the field.

Maybe we’ll work together some day. Good luck!"

"Before I came to ComputerTraining.edu, I only had a high school diploma and two years experience in the field with no certifications of any kind. My experience with computers was heavily based around workstation/residential computer problems and little experience with Windows Server.

ComputerTraining.edu provided a fun, even paced learning environment so that I could learn the ins and outs of Windows Server. My instructor translated subjects into a way that it was easy to understand and master, and the lab environment gave me the chance to test my skills in a real world environment.

I wanted to change my career from residential computer service to corporate network administration. I began to send my resume out for help desk positions but I wasn't receiving any response from any employers. Working together with Career Services helped me revise my resume and make it more attractive to employers in the IT industry. I noticed a great volume of prospective employers responding to my resume submittals and even contacting me after posting my resume on some job search websites.

This course helped me get into an open ended contract position servicing both residential and commercial customers throughout the metro area. I plan to continue my exams to achieve the MCITP certification, and continue to search for that bigger and better job."

"I had very little computer training and had spent most of my professional career in dark and dirty body shops as a repairman. I worked long hours for little pay and even less gratification. I knew it was time for a change when I noticed that my pay checks never got much bigger.

I heard about ComputerTraining.edu on the radio but was skeptical at first. I had finally had it with my job and took the Online Skills Challenge. I received a call the very next day and signed up for the class shortly thereafter.

The work load was hard, but rewarding. Within just a few weeks I received my first certification and with the help from a wonderful instructor, everything started to become easier and easier. With the Career Services offered by ComputerTraining.edu, I had a solid resume and the interviewing skills to get the job I always wanted. I was then offered a job with a large financial company doing what I have always wanted to do. I make great money and get work in a bright, air-conditioned office.

I would suggest to anyone to take advantage of the program ComputerTraining.edu has to offer. All it takes is hard work and dedication and you whole life can be different. It has turned my life around and now I have direction and a bright and secure future."

"I started using computers in the early 80’s when my family got a Commodore G4. About a month later I saw the movie Wargames and wanted to learn everything about computers and networking. I recently retired from the Navy and decided that twenty years doing the same thing had gotten too boring.

I love being able to use servers to push out data to multiple computers without having to sit in front of each workstation. IT was recently ranked #6 in recession-proof careers. The endless job listings continue to prove that. I also enjoy a customer’s reaction when their computer is running better than ever.

My biggest fear was that I was too old to learn a new career, but, as my instructor always says, “I don’t know how to do that…yet!” Being a Navy chief, I could never tell my sailors that I didn’t know something. I would learn it then pass that knowledge on.

Stick with it – it’s worth every hour of study and every technical book, manual and magazine you can read!

This experience has made it clear that it’s never too late to start a new career or finally do something you’ve always wanted to but were afraid to try."

"Although I had years of prior main frame programming experience in the industry, I found that I was unable to re-enter the workforce because my skills were outdated. I enjoyed my career in the IT field and desperately wanted to break back in. Upon researching several educational opportunities, I chose ComputerTraining.edu because of its short-duration, focused hands-on training, and Career Services.

I was pleased to find that even with my previous IT experience, the study was challenging, but delivered in such a way, that I was able to progress at a steady pace gaining more knowledge and certifications along the way.

My first position after receiving my certification was an entry-level position, but I have already been promoted twice in just four months. Between the training and Career Services, ComputerTraining.edu provided all the tools I needed to be a success…I just needed to work hard and implement them. I did and I cannot say how happy I am to be working back in the IT field and doing what I love."

"My prior experience in computers was having an Associate’s degree in Computer Networking for ITT Tech I received the degree in 2002 and tech field dried up for entry-level. I came to ComputerTraining.edu to obtain certifications to make myself more marketable.

What I like most about my new career is the chance to help frustrated computer users fix their problems and return to productivity as quick as possible.

I was afraid that I’d finish the program, pay the tuition, get the certifications and still be unemployed. I overcame this fear by getting this job prior to graduation, thereby eliminating that possibility.

My advice is to study your materials as hard as you can!

The experience has changed my career and life by giving me the necessary skills to get out of my house and get the best paying job I’ve ever had, and the Career Services department has given me hope that if I ever need another job, I can depend on their guidance."
