"Before I enrolled in ComputerTraining.edu, I had basic computer knowledge. I had regularly used computers but was really only able to do the minimum with them. I could install programs, run a virus scan, clear cache, but that was essentially it. I had a variety of jobs after graduating high school – from customer service representative at a retail store to personal care assistant for elderly patients. I knew I wanted to combine my strong service-oriented background with technology and I found ComputerTraining.edu to be a great platform for doing so!
ComputerTraining.edu was a fabulous experience for me. I learned so much throughout my experience in this program – not only about Microsoft Networking Technology, but about myself. I learned that I can do anything I set my mind to. I learned that if you set goals for yourself, you truly can accomplish anything!
In the beginning I was very nervous about starting the program. I was concerned that I would have trouble finding a job and was afraid that I would be nursing for the rest of my life and making no money but working a million hours a week. After applying myself for six full months within this hands-on program and earning my Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) credential, I now work as a contract employee through Sapphire Technologies on site at TJX Companies.
As a Call Center Technician I provide problem identification and resolution for Help Desk calls from TJ Maxx, Marsalls, Winners, AJ Wright and Homegoods stores. I handle issues that involve communications, software, and hardware in addition to logging calls in a call tracking database and assigning priorities. Every day I assist callers in identifying and specifying problems by performing troubleshooting procedures to resolve problems and close calls.
I love my job. I love that I have a regular, fixed schedule and that I’m making a decent amount of money. Despite numerous distractions throughout the program (not the least of which was planning my wedding and getting married), I still managed to do it all because I was committed to my future. I would encourage all students to take the program very seriously. It’s not for the light of heart. You can’t just give it 10% and expect to get 100% out of the program. I dedicated six solid months of my life to the program and feel great about the experience.
Going forward, I see myself excelling in my career now and making life better for myself, my husband and our family."

"Before ComputerTraining, I was working in automotive retail industry. Cars were my background and I didn’t know what I was going to for an actual career. Then, one day, I realized that getting dirty and breaking my back all day for mediocre pay wasn’t that appealing to me. So I decided to try and go for something different. I was listening to the radio one day and I heard the ad for ComputerTraining.edu. I thought about it that whole day and said to myself “I love electronics and I’m pretty good with computers, so why not? People in the IT industry make very good money and barely ever see grease.”
So I spoke to the Director of Admissions and decided to enroll. I am so glad that I did. It was the best decision I have ever made in my life. The knowledge and experience that I have gained from this course was well worth it. ComputerTraining.edu gave me the essential tools needed to be successful in the IT field. Thanks to my instructors, career services and ComputerTraining.edu because without them I would have never realized my full potential."

"I wouldn’t consider myself to be the typical student. I’ve been in the IT industry for a few years now and I’ve been struggling to get ahead. I realized I would need something to make me stand out to employers. I figured certifications were a good place to start.
I’m just a little over half way through the program and I’ve just received my first job offer! And it gets even better; I haven’t even started my new job when they called to offer me a higher ranking (and higher paying) position!
This program gave me the edge I’ve been looking for, the edge I needed for this market. I’ve got my confidence in my abilities back, and the certifications to prove it.
The best advice I can give to future students is to study. Be dedicated to the program and follow the plan. Use the tools provided, the self test software, virtual PC, the Career Services workshops and study sessions."

"My background was that I worked in a hospital. My computer background was that I started building computers about five years ago. I was stuck in a dead end job and wanted to get out into the real world and start doing something to help me start a new career.
Now that I’m certified, I like that fact that there are so many opportunities and endless growth. My biggest fear was in regards to the student loan and whether or not I could pay it back. But once I realized what I would be making, I realized it was well worth the time and money.
I would tell new students to definitely listen to the instructor. He pointed out thing that weren’t in the book and emphasized certain areas because he had taken all the tests that we were going to take.
This experience has put me on a good track to a good career and has made me very happy that I am no longer stuck in a hole."

"When I came to ComputerTraining.edu, I had almost no computer experience. All I had was what I have learned with my own computer. I heard the ad on the radio and since I have always loved computer problems, I thought I would look into the program.
After signing up and spending only a few weeks in the class, I got a job almost immediately and I love it. The price of the class was a concern at first, but when I realized what the whole program had to offer, I knew it was worth it.
For all the new students, keep your heads up, study hard, and you too will see the potential in yourself with the help from this program. I recommend this class to anyone interested in a job within the IT field. The Director of Placement was excellent and my instructor was the best teacher I have ever had for any subject. ComputerTraining.edu is ready for you, are you ready to change your life?

"Before I started at ComputerTraining.edu I was a stuck as a truck driver/delivery person. I have always had an interest in computers and it was something I always wanted to get into. At the time I was driving the truck I was working in a terrible environment, hated my job and it showed. It really took away my personality and who I was as a person.
One night I decided to take the ComputerTraining.edu Online Skills Challenge. The next day I received a phone call from someone at ComputerTraining.edu. Everything was explained to me in detail and I was promised support in helping me succeed in the IT industry. As soon as I passed my first test I was in the Career Services office. Soon thereafter I got my first job in IT as an IT Technician. I was making twice as much money as I was driving a truck! So, here I am six months later, 110% happier, in a field that I have a passion for, and a great career ahead of me. Thank you for everything ComputerTraining.edu, I don't know where I would be today if I wouldn't have taken the challenge.

"My background was in the automotive field at first, and then I moved to the medical field. I wasn’t happy with the money that I was making and I felt like I would be able to grow more in the IT field then either of these two fields. My computer background was very basic, pretty much that of the average person. I really like opportunities that I have now to grow in my field and the potential to make more money.
My biggest fear was whether or not I would be good at working on computers for a profession. Once I passed my first test, those fears were eliminated. I would recommend to incoming students that they’re really going to have to study a lot.
This opportunity has finally put me on track to getting a real career. Prior to coming here, I wasn’t really going anywhere in my job. In the computer field, I have lots of room to grow and learn."
