"I was an associate for the local Home Depot store near my hometown. My computer experience was limited; I enjoyed working on computers at home, messing around with them. I love everything that involved computers and saw a potential growth within the industry. I wanted to get Microsoft certified and pursue a career out of my hobby. I heard the ComputerTraining.edu radio advertisement just as I was thinking of making the move into a new career. I looked at it as a sign and I enrolled into ComputerTraining.edu.
There was one fear before starting class. I was not sure how I was going to obtain the information that was taught. I have not been in a classroom setting for a long time and I was a bit nervous. I realized that by just staying focused and eliminating all distractions, it was quite easy to obtain the information.
The program taught me a whole lot of new information. By going over the labs in class they really helped me obtain the technical skills needed and also allowed me to develop more hands on experience. Some advice that I can give is to apply yourself by reading the textbooks and staying up on the self test by using the software. I found it extremely helpful just listening to what the instructor had to say.
I am still attending the program, only a few more weeks to go. I have found employment through working closely with Career Services. Together we made a pact to keep each other posted with all career related happenings and information. It worked! I am on my way towards the career path that I’ve always wanted to be on. The company has a lot of room for growth. I see good things for my future."

"I started teaching computer classes in an elementary school eighteen years ago. At that time the only computers in the building were the labs fifteen computers that were peer to peer networked. Through the years, the whole building was network wired, a server was added, and school actually entered the “Technology Age”. I received my “on the job training” from asking the contractors questions and watching how things were done. I stopped teaching to become the Network Administrator. The school network now consists of 120 computers, two servers, four network printers, and several shared printers.
I started thinking about becoming certified and returning to the “Business World”. I knew I had practical experience, but not the documentation. When I heard the radio commercial for ComputerTraining.edu, I knew what I had to do.
When I informed the school administration I had started studying at ComputerTraining.edu, I was asked for a job description. Well there wasn’t one for my position. So I listed everything that I normally do on a daily basis. When it was determined that I couldn’t be replaced for what I was paid, my contract was re-negotiated, and my salary increased by 50%.
Even though I haven’t returned to the “Business World” yet, I know I can, do to my education at ComputerTraining.edu."

"Before enrolling in ComputerTraining.edu I worked for approximately six years as a window and door installer. I worked for a very small company with almost no room for advancement. I knew that the construction business was not an ideal situation for me to be in. The housing market was on the decline, and I was really only working about thirty hours per week. I decided that was no way for me to live, and more importantly, no way for my family to have to live.
I enrolled in ComputerTraining.edu after checking several other alternatives. I looked into online colleges, local colleges, and many other tech schools. I decided to go with ComputerTraining.edu after sitting in on one of the classes. Even though at the time I had no idea what the instructor was talking about, I felt that if I could be taught anything about computers this would be the place to do it.
ComputerTraining.edu is the best program for individuals who have little or no experience with computers; but who are serious about changing their careers and advancing in the technology field. The instructors are very knowledgeable and the interns do a fantastic job helping with the hands on training. Additionally, the career service assistance is indispensable, and I can continue to use it long after graduation.
I currently have an entry level IT position at a company that employs 400,000 people world wide. Now I have plenty of room for advancement. This program is difficult, but if you really do want to change your life, it is definitely a fantastic place to start. The rest is up to you."

"I loved computers and was running a network just by learning on the job, but as time went along I decided I wanted to learn more than I could learn on my own so I decided to get some schooling. Getting certified was on top of the list for me and learning from a Microsoft Certified school was very important to me.
I really love the environment that I am in now working with other professionals that really like what they are doing and are willing to help you out no matter what (i.e. there are no dumb questions). My new job is also training me in other computer operating systems besides Microsoft like JD Edwards and IBM AS400.
My biggest concerns were going back to school after not having been in school since 1981, and learning how to study again. In learning how to study again I just relaxed and took my instructors advice and ran with it. Put your all into this program and it will defiantly pay off, listen to your instructors they have been there and study, study, study.
It has changed my life in more ways than one: I am more confident in my computer knowledge, I am working in a great field where I can learn everyday, and working with a great bunch of people, not to mention I am now earning what I am worth with opportunity for advancement."

"Before attending ComputerTraining.edu I had limited career opportunities available. Since then many doors have opened for me. The staff at ComputerTraining.edu has provided the proper direction and guidance that has enabled me to start my new career before I even graduated.
I received my certifications and am now part of a Vista rollout team. It is great work and I really enjoy what I am doing. I was nervous at first to make a complete career change but all of the support tools really enforced my decision and really helped me make my choice.
This was definitely the best move for me and I am glad that I decided to pursue this education. I have a great working partnership with my Career Director and have established a solid connection with my instructor. I even made some good friends in my class as well.
I would recommend ComputerTraining.edu to anyone that is unsatisfied in their current career path."

"My desire to enter the IT field was sparked by my interest at home with computers and technological devices. I wanted a career that captured the things that I was most interested in and I felt that ComputerTraining.edu would supply me with the knowledge and hands on experience that I desired. I found that I gained valuable knowledge that made me more attractive to employers. And I was right, as I landed a great job with a very well known and successful IT company.
The course is fast paced and very challenging, but through my experience here within the last six months, I have come to realize that this was definitely the correct choice for me to embark upon. I was very pleased with my Career Services experience. The staff helped me shape my resume into a marketable document and I was provided with a great opportunity to practice, and put into action, real job interview techniques.
This course has given me a golden opportunity to start a new career, and I am very excited to get started. Hard work will pay off. Balancing everyday life can be difficult, but it is definitely worth it in the long run."

"I came from and IT background about eight years ago, then changed careers into the medical field. I wanted to return to the IT industry, but being out of the industry for so long severely impacted my skills. One constant aspect of this field is that things are constantly changing...fast.
Trying to get back into IT filed would have been extremely challenging if not for the training I received at ComputerTraining.edu. I needed a place that would bring me up to speed and get me back on the IT track. The environment that ComputerTraining.edu provides students is top notch and real world. Getting the hands-on practice and experience is immeasurable and goes a long way towards your confidence when it’s time to interview for that new job in the field. Then on your first day, you don't feel ten steps behind everyone else.
My first day in my new job was hands-on and moving forward and felt like I was making a positive impact for the company. I am certainly happier; I now like what I do and what I get paid to do it. I feel like I have a real direction in life and can provide for my wife and family. It does not matter if business is up or down, you can be sure the industry will always need good IT people that have the knowledge and training to get the job done. I am one of those people. I am a graduate of ComputerTraining.edu.
