"My computer background began when I started working for Teleperformance/ CallTech years back in their tech support position. It was confirmed for me then, that I loved the IT field and I wanted to go into it permanently and not have it as just a hobby for myself. I knew I needed education and training before I could successfully enter the field, which is why I decided to attend ComputerTraining.edu. When I began school, I was working for Nationwide Insurance in their Claims department and my goal was to get into their IT department. With my hard work, new education, and my dedication, I was able to land a position in their IT department.
What do I like most about my new career? Well first of all, it’s in the IT field, so I’m very excited about that aspect because I’m on my way to my dream job. My new Help Desk position will provide me with enormous opportunity. In my last position in the claims department, I had topped out and there was no where else for me to go. I’m at the bottom in the IT department now and I have no where to go but up. Not to mention, that Nationwide has a very large IT department that will offer me a bunch of different opportunities. I feel now that the sky is the limit.
One of the biggest concerns I had before entering the program, was the financing, but ComputerTraining.edu helped me with that. I was also worried about the large work load that the course would bring. I overcame these worries by sticking to a schedule, staying focused, and keeping my eye on the prize (a dream job in IT). I was able to stay self-disciplined and it helped me set aside the extra time I needed for the course.
My advice to new students coming into the program would be to stay focused and don’t give up. Set goals for yourself and keep your eye on them to motivate you.
The overall experience at ComputerTraining.edu has greatly changed my life. I now have a career with a growing salary. This is truly a dream come true for me. I feel that I have great stability in my new position, as well as great opportunities to look forward to."

"I have always tinkered with computers, taking them apart, putting them together, troubleshooting and changing settings. This is my computer background and why I wanted a career change.
The certifications, I feel, definitely helped me further my knowledge and get my first job in my new career.
My concerns before coming to ComputerTraining.edu were having the time to study and being able to pay for it. I overcame the money issue with my dad’s help. As for the time, I just made it work. Before, I didn’t have any big goals, just to pay the bills. Now I get to sleep at night, work better hours, and work one job! It is something that I enjoy doing.
My advice for new students is make time for studying, reading, class and taking exams. With the class, we had a lot of fun, got along and joked a lot. The overall experience has shown me that life and career changes are possible."

"My experience with computers was all self-taught and I always did my own repairs. After thirteen years of working on Windows both at home and at work I decided to make a career change.
I like the new paths and doors that have opened up for me. The possibilities are endless it seems. My skills have matured way beyond even my own expectations.
Initially, having feared making a career change at 37-years old and not having been in school of any kind for a long time, I decided it was time to just do it! All students need to do is keep in mind that it can be done. Read more, test more, and study more… and never stop. Everything I learned here has changed my life for the better. Valuable lessons are learned every minute. My career is now definitely on its way."

"Before I started at ComputerTraining.edu, I worked cleaning cards in a dead-end job. After Computertraining classes, I got a great paying job with a large medical organization. I was worried I wouldn’t be capable of handling the flood of information/responsibility, but ComputerTraining.edu helped me get over that by giving me some of the best training available. The experience of working in the field has been exhilarating, everyone is there because they love what they do and their attitude reflects that and now mine does too."

"Being a carpenter for twenty years, I had very little knowledge of computers before coming to ComputerTraining.edu. Change is a scary thing after twenty years. It’s tough to make a move in a completely new direction. However, ComputerTraining.edu’s training gave me the confidence and the knowledge to take that step in a direction.
Now I have a job at one of the largest networks in the world and I’m continuing to learn more about computers every day. Work hard and give everything you have for six months, use everything ComputerTraining.edu has to offer, and you will be able to start the path toward reaching your goals."

"Before coming to ComputerTraining.edu, I was working as a golf supervisor and had previous experience in sales and the mortgage industry. I decided to make a career change to the IT field due to its high demand and my enjoyment of work with computers. My greatest concern to enter the program was the cost, but I decided the benefits after the course would be greater than my cost concern. If I had to give advice to new students, it would be to dedicate enough time understand all the material and prepare for the exams. Getting my MCP certification and completing the course has given me an opportunity to obtain a job at EDS and has started my career in IT."
