"The MCTS, MCSA course offered by ComputerTraining.edu is a six months long and rigorous course, but it is worth putting your efforts in because the results do materialize if you stick to the fundamentals.

I had just recently graduated from the University of Maryland College Park with a degree in Economics, yes Economics! But after graduation I found the job market to be very saturated and the jobs that did come my way were not what I had in mind for a fruitful and fulfilling career. This is when I heard of ComputerTraining.edu. I had a relatively good computer background with a prior MCSE and so I thought about taking a look at this program.

There were a number of factors which made me decide in changing my career track from Economics to Information Technology. The main reason was that I found the Networking branch of IT very stimulating and having a prior educational experience in the subject made me realize about the strengths, weaknesses and opportunities associated with this six month program being offered by ComputerTraining.edu. My other reason for choosing this track was the number of job opportunities available in this field and the job growth rate projected in the near future.

I have really enjoyed studying at ComputerTraining.edu. The instructor was very knowledgeable and motivational. He keeps you on your toes with regular quizzes and homework. I found that attending the classes regularly and keeping pace with the class was of paramount importance.

I found a job through the Career development office of ComputerTraining.edu lead by an efficient and affable Director of Placement. I really like my new job because it enables me to employ my hard learned skills in the real world. IT is a key field in any entity of today and System Engineers are the captains of this field. It is both challenging and fulfilling to deal with the day to day issues of technology.

I would definitely recommend this program to anyone who is looking to change careers or start out a career right out of college. The financial investment might seem daunting to some but believe me bang to buck it is right on the money. Also, it is a field for the future and the job growth rate projections are one of the highest.

I am thankful to everybody at ComputerTraining.edu especially the technical trainer and Director of Placement who helped me in choosing a career path which I enjoy being a part of everyday. Thank you."

"When I graduated from college, I thought I had chosen a career that would see me through to retirement. Unfortunately, after three years I found myself unhappy, underappreciated and vastly underpaid. I wanted to find a new career, but knew that I didn’t have the time or money to go back to college. I decided to visit the ComputerTraining.edu website on a whim, and almost didn’t pursue it once I learned that there were classes involved. I am extremely glad that I changed my mind. The class was far from easy, and it definitely took up my share of free time over the next six months, but the reward was well worth it. I now have my MCP, MCSA and MCSE certifications, and have a much more promising career with an IT consulting firm. Most importantly, I actually enjoy going to work now. Thanks to my instructor at ComputerTraining.edu, as well as the rest of the staff, I found that a new career was much more in my reach than I could have ever imagined. I would (and have) heartily recommend ComputerTraining.edu to anyone looking to change their career."

"Joining ComputerTraining.edu was one of the best career decisions I could have made. Anyone who is interested in working with computers should give ComputerTraining.edu a chance. The teachers are very supportive and are always there to offer extra help if needed. Every class has at least two hours of hands on computer training, with every student given a computer to work with. The class offers several textbooks and practice test software. As long as you apply yourself and work hard, computertraining gives you all you need to succeed.

The biggest advantage to taking this course is the Career Services that are offered to you after class. I didn’t have to lift a finger in order to get my first IT job. All I did was get the certifications, and ComputerTraining.edu did the rest. From writing resumes, to interview preparation, I was well taken care of. Career Services will hunt for a job for you for as long as it takes. You can even go back if you want to change IT jobs. After one week of class, my Career Services representative put in a good word for me and I was notified that I had an interview. Before I knew it, I had a job as a Tier 2 Network Engineer for a datacenter. For just six months of blood, sweat and tears, ComputerTraining.edu gave me the tools and support I needed to change my future for the better."

"I started school because I needed a career. I wasn't wonderfully proficient in computers but I had some basic skills to build on. I was worried that I didn't have enough of a foundation to build on at first but after a few classes I realized I had enough to really do this. I was actually learning! A few months passed, it got hard and there was a point that I didn't understand some of the things that were being discussed. But, after a few more classes the pieces started falling into place and I was actually getting somewhere. I passed my first certification, landed an awesome first IT job and I'm moving up in the world."

My computer background was basically self-taught on repairs, building and troubleshooting. I worked in sales and factory hard labor and the money wasn’t good, so the choice I made was to go for computer certifications. What I like about my new career are the hours, money and how easy it is in comparison to my old jobs.

My biggest concerns beforehand: Would I be able to find work and how soon? My advice to students would be be in class; don’t miss them. You can learn a lot just by attending and being there. Study hard, get involved in the class and participate! The overall experience has changed my life in the way that I got laid off from my previous job on October 2nd, I had a baby on October 15th. I found work in the computer industry in November. Six months after that, I got promoted to a service manager and the rest is history."

"Prior to coming to ComputerTraining.edu, my background was strictly self-taught. I wanted to get certified in order to make my computer skills official and employable. I was nervous about whether or not I would be able to handle the curriculum since the class is accelerated and only six months long. Every week I made sure to set aside enough time to study.

At my new job as a field technician, I’m treated like a professional and it feels good to be needed by the office personnel and clients. I would tell future students to take their studies seriously and to devote as much time to school work out of class as you do in class and definitely don’t give up. This class has helped me get to know myself and achieve something I never thought I could. It’s given me the confidence to go after the career I always wanted. It’s allowed me to have an actual career, and not just a job."
