"When starting out at ComputerTraining.edu, I considered myself to be educated enough to make it through the course. I knew that if I was to find a job able to provide a stable and prosperous future for my family, the time was now and the field was computers. Like many people have, I had heard the commercials on the radio telling me that all I had to do was log on and take a simple test. Next thing I know, I’m called stating that I passed the online test and was invited to come and check out the school.
I thought I would have a few months after signing up before class started. I had just had a baby four weeks earlier and was still on maternity leave. The last thing I had prepared myself for was having a newborn and starting a complex computer course. Little did I know that the hand of fate would step in and guide me exactly where I needed to be.
When I was told that there was a class that was about to start in two weeks and there was one opening left my brain said NO WAY! Somehow, my brain didn’t relay that message to my mouth and hand because I said, “I’ll do it” and signed on the dotted line. Two weeks later, I’m in class…scared out of my mind that I wouldn’t be able to keep up. I had the best support system I could have possibly had. My husband supported me and was my lifeline through it all. Not only the support of my husband, but fate stepped in again and gave me the best course instructor and classmates I could have ever hoped for. The materials were easy to follow and the pace was just fast enough that a fatigued mom could keep up and retain what she was learning. The time flew by!
Six months later, after learning all that I could and testing as much as possible I had my MCP. With this first certification, ComputerTraining.edu lived up to their promise to start marketing my resume in the IT community. Two weeks before class was over, I had the opportunity to interview with Bradford-Scott Data Corporation. I was one of twelve that interviewed for the position. Three interviews later, I am their new Medical Software Trainer. I know that obtaining my MCP elevated my qualifications higher than the other applicants and got me this job.
I may only have my MCP right now, but I plan to continue studying and testing. Even though I am done with the course, my teacher will still get calls and visits with each test that I take. I will obtain my goal of MCSE. The best advice I can give is to have faith in yourself and your abilities. You know more than you think you do. Set your goals and keep working towards them. The more you learn and more certifications you get, the farther you will go."

"Before enrolling in ComputerTraining.edu I was working in the automotive industry going from job to job about every year. I was always interested in computers and one day my friend said he took the Online Skills Challenge. I thought about it and the next day I took the challenge and scored fairly well. The next day I received a call and set up an appointment to visit the center. I found out what the course was about and saw the small class size and knew that this was the right place to further my education.
The six months in the program were an experience that I will never forget. The trainer was always there when I needed help and always encouraged me to keep going. The Career Services specialist was also there every step of the way. I made a few good friends and had many happy times.
The day I got my certification I was offered a job in the field. I am currently a Technical Support Agent with a major internet hosting company. I work with great people (my entire team is comprised of ComputerTraining.edu graduates) and have fun doing it.
ComputerTraining.edu was the first step in making a better life for me."

"I have had an IT obsession for many years. I took a CCNA course in high school and that was it…I was hooked. From that point on, I started self-teaching myself as much as I could. I landed a job with Comcast as a Comm. Tech. and was able to apply a great deal of knowledge in that position. However, I realized that I needed to learn more in order to really achieve the IT position I was longing to land.
That is where ComputerTraining.edu came in…I knew I was capable of more…I just need the right tools. The personnel at ComputerTraining.edu were always there to help. The instructors are great…listen to them and you will succeed. My hands-on training experience at ComputerTraining.edu has definitely given me more confidence to go out and apply what I learned in class out in the real world. In addition to building technical skills, I also had an opportunity to build personally. The program is structured to reflect a “real-world” environment so you are constantly working with partners and teams and building your interpersonal skills.
I commuted an hour and a half each way to class, studied and read until I thought I would loose my mind, and made a significant financial investment...what do I have to show for all I gave? An AMAZING NEW CAREER at Hewlett-Packard…complete with company car, gas car, and plenty more benefits!
The best advice I can give anyone thinking about this program is this…devote six months of your life to studying and being dedicated to your Microsoft training at ComputerTraining.edu…and you will find a career to last a lifetime!"

"I didn’t really have much of a computer background before coming to ComputerTraining.edu. Computers were more of a hobby to me and something I played with for fun. I considered attending ComputerTraining.edu because I wanted a career change and I wanted the career change to be in Information Technology. I really had an authentic interest in IT and I strived to expand my knowledge in IT. I mostly wanted to fill in the blanks because I did know the basics, but there were a lot of holes that made it hard to fully learn Information Technology.
I really enjoy my new position as a Lead Information Technology Specialist. I am constantly improving my skill set in IT and I continue to grow as I learn the position. I am always learning something new every day and I really feel I am benefiting from working with other IT professionals because I am able to learn from them. This new position has opened up new pathways for me that I didn’t even know existed. I feel that now I am going to be able to eventually get a better job because of the knowledge I have gained. This job will be a great stepping stone into my next position.
One of my biggest fears I had before coming to ComputerTraining.edu was that I didn’t think I would be up to the standards of the other students attending the academy. I was also concerned that I wouldn’t be able to learn fast enough and my brain would not absorb that material it should. I was able to overcome these fears by emailing my future instructor at the time about my insecurities. My instructor gave me great advice and showed a lot of patience with me that put me at ease. I also really benefited from talking with the interns at the center. The interns constantly got my spirit back up whenever I had doubts and insecurities about myself. My instructor and interns really showed me their full attention, which made me work much harder.
The advice I would give to future students is to take excellent notes all throughout the course. I would also tell them to trust their instructor. It was hard to fully trust my instructor at first when he kept telling me that I would catch on and the material would eventually begin to make sense, but I did and it really taught me a lot. Always read before coming to class and begin playing around on your computer as soon as possible to get the feel for everything.
The overall experience of ComputerTraining.edu has really given me overall confidence in my daily life. I feel now that I can walk into a work environment and feel good about myself and what I’m doing. I am constantly getting asked questions from my peers and it feels good to be able to provide them with the guidance and knowledge they are looking for."

"My computer background I thought was very good before I attended this program. After completing my six months of training, I feel like I doubled the amount of knowledge that I had before I started. I considered getting certified because I did not want to attend a 2-4 year college to learn what I was able to learn in a period of six months. By attending this course, I was able to get my career on the road by the age of nineteen.
What I like most about my new career is that I don’t dread going to work anymore, on account of I like what I do when I go to work. The skills that I have obtained are not necessary every day that I work, however they allowed me to obtain a higher pay scale. With this training also, I was able to gain experience with interviewing and meeting with different companies to see what each one had to offer.
When I originally enrolled in the program, I thought that I was going to be the youngest one and not know hardly anything compared to anyone else that would be in the class. I overcame these concerns by just going to class each night. Even though I was the youngest one, there were a couple of others that weren’t that much older. Even the older adults didn’t treat me like a child and that helped greatly. Once class started, I was able to determine how much I knew and didn’t know compared to other classmates, and everyone seemed to know at least the basics of using the computer.
Advice that I would give to new students entering the program is that, “If you think you can put out the hard work for six months to make this big life change, than do it! If you doubt yourself, than you might want to think again. The work that is given to you is really not that hard, it just requires a little time to get it done. If you are ready to make a career change, than this is the way to do it.”
The overall experience changed my life by allowing me to obtain skills that stick out to employers, and which allowed me to obtain the job in which I obtained. I have been with this job for a little while now and I really like everything about it. This job became available to me through the career services at ComputerTraining.edu. They tell you that you will be placed within a time frame, and within a certain pay scale. Well, I was placed way before that time frame, and have a salary higher than the average that they tell you they typically place you. All I have to say, if you are even considering signing up for this program, than you should probably go with your instincts and just do it. There is nothing that you can really lose by completing this program."

"I really enjoyed taking the MCSE classes. I have been working on computers for about thirty years around the house and with friends. When my job went overseas, my wife and I decided that I should pursue something that I really enjoy doing. I decided to get certified because I like computers so much.
The instruction and the hands on training that I received at ComputerTraining.edu was amazing. I now have two certifications and working on getting more.
What I like most about my new career is that the opportunities are there, it’s just getting the experience. My biggest fear was whether or not I had what it takes to get through the program. Once I got in there and got to studying, I found out I knew more than I thought I did.
To students considering the program, it is a good program. To students in it, listen to the instructor, study and do your reading.
Thanks ComputerTraining.edu for the opportunity to do what I really enjoy doing."

"My education experience with ComputerTraining.edu was definitely an enlightening and enjoyable experience. Not only were the staff a pleasure to work with and be around, but the instructor and Career Services counselor were by far the most educated and well rounded individuals I have ever met in this industry.
My education has opened the door to many opportunities and on going growth within my chosen profession as a Network Administrator. Not only have I been able to grow within my current 9-5 work environment, I've also been fortunate enough to continue growing with my independent consulting business as well. I'm able to take on new projects and challenges with an open mind and confidence due to the enhanced knowledge and experience I gained from ComputerTraining.edu.
Since my graduation from ComputerTraining.edu, I've continued to study and learn more and more about the IT world. I'm seeking to gain as much knowledge and experience as I can, and will continue to pursue further education and my other various certifications necessary to keep me at the top of my game. I definitely recommend this path to anyone I know seeking to advance themselves in the growing world of IT, as well as recommend pursuing an education with ComputerTraining.edu. It's by far the best choice I've made in life, and I look forward to continuing my professional relationship with everyone at ComputerTraining.edu."
