"I really didn’t have any computer knowledge going into ComputerTraining.edu but since I was laid off at my prior job for about three months I felt the urge to check out what they had to offer. I decided I wanted to do something with my life that didn’t require too much time in school to gain a certification. I decided to go into ComputerTraining.edu and find out more about the program; it ended up fitting my expectations. After I was explained how the program worked and how well the staff worked with me, I couldn’t resist. I didn’t know that good people like them still existed in this world. They all wanted for me to achieve my goals and become successful in life.
My biggest concern and fears before entering the program was that I would not be able to be committed to attend school two nights a week and not be able to put 100% effort into studying and doing homework. Fortunately I met the most amazing trainer; she guided me through the program with such support and dedication. Her support, confidence, strength, and power had me taken over. She explained every part of the classroom material into a language I could understand. There were many times I would want to walk out and quit, but she would raise me up and made me realize why I came here in the beginning and what would be the outcome of it. I realize how much the faith she had in me was what kept me going!
My advice to the new students is to really take these six months of your life seriously. You will lose a lot of your personal life. Everything will still be the same after you are done with the program. The only difference is that you will have more knowledge and education to better yourself. And that is something you will never regret! So stand proud and be your best!
After my completion of ComputerTraining.edu, a variety of opportunities opened up for me. I could assert my hands-on learning, motivation, and knowledge in the field I would not have been qualified for without going through the training. Not having a desire to be a long term student I choose ComputerTraining.edu so that I could continue working and further my education within six months. I was able to study at my own pace and prepare for the many certifications which would enrich my life and allow me to do the things I have never dreamed of in a field I am more than excited to enter at this stage of my life."

"My computer background started about seven years ago while I was still in the Army. I used to help people build them and troubleshoot them just as a hobby at first. I soon developed a keen interest in computers and what was involved with them and the importance of them in today’s communication. After I retired from the Army; I decided to make the IT field a career. There was only one problem, you can tell employers how good you are, but most of them don’t want to listen unless you have some type of formal education. I did a lot of research in the industry. Where to go for my education, who offered what and overall who had the best program designed for today’s demands and for what I wanted out of an education.
Some of my biggest concerns were obviously the cost of the program and the time involved in attending the program. As far as the money was concerned, nothing worth while is free and you get back just what you put into it. When I did the research of the IT industry over the past ten years and saw where it was, where it is and where it is going it was an easy decision to make. You have to give a little to get a little. As far as the time needed to devote to this program was concerned, it was merely a time management adjustment. I just took a close look at my priorities and decided this is what I wanted and I was going to give it all the time necessary to be successful. Again you get out of it just what you put into it.
I have worked with two separate organizations during my attendance at ComputerTraining.edu. My first job I was able to apply a lot of what I learned and was learning in class. I did imaging and configuration of over four hundred desktop computers and two hundred laptop computers. When the imaging and configuration was complete, I did a lot of computer management adding personnel and computers to the Active Directory, deploying and troubleshooting the machines after deployment. On my second job, I was selected to be the Team Lead for a migration and deployment project for the University of Chicago Medical Center. This project was going to be similar with the exception that this project was the largest and most expensive deployment project in the Medical Centers history. It was because of the education and hands on training I received from class that I was able to be selected for this position.
Anybody that is considering a career in Information Technology should definitely do their research into the career field. If a person is looking for a challenging training program that they can benefit from, then this is the one. The support of the staff at this facility was the best I have seen. My instructor has the expertise and knowledge to ensure you get the best education and understanding of the material to succeed. The career services section went out of their way to ensure I was placed into a position not only that I was qualified for but also one that would give the best experience along with the opportunity for advancement. This program was designed for one purpose only, for you to succeed in your new career, and they have succeeded in making this happen for me.
Overall I would have to say the decision to attend class at ComputerTraining.edu was one of the best decisions I could have made. I made a decision to change my career path and the personnel at this facility were there to help and support me throughout this whole process. It was a very challenging environment and required a lot of my time and devotion, but in my opinion, I received the best education and experience I could have. This is something I can look back on and be grateful that there was a place with the professionalism and experience I was looking for to further my education and to be staffed with all the best people this field has to offer."

"I initially began my IT career as a Field Service Technician with CompUSA, where I obtained my A+ certification, but unfortunately lost my position due to downsizing. At the time I needed to begin working as soon as possible, so I took employment with a trucking agency where I was both a driver and instructor. Seeing that IT has always been my top interest, I decided that now was the time to get back into the field and in order to do so, I would need to get some additional training to expand my skill set because I had been out of the field for about two years.
Working in the IT field is amazing seeing that it supplies you with a challenging career where there is always room to grow and learn new things. Seeing that in my previous position I always felt as if I was stuck doing the exact same thing day in and day out, I am looking forward to my new career as an IT Assistant where I am going to be able to perform different tasks each and every day. The skills that I learned at ComputerTraining.edu enabled me to do this and have ultimately allowed me to get back into the field that I always wanted to be in.
The main concern that I had when reviewing the program was the financial obligation. Seeing that I have a family to support, the cost of tuition really frightened me. I initially enrolled in the program back in 2005 but dropped because I was nervous about the price and the potential issue of not being able to find a job in the field. After working in the trucking industry for about two years though, I realized that I needed to take the leap in order to break back into IT, so I decided to “bite the bullet” and take a shot at the program.
It is going to be a busy six months, but if you completely submerge yourself in it and work hard, you will experience success. Always be sure to listen to your instructors and follow their lead because they know what they are talking about! It will definitely be a hard six months but if you put forth 100% effort, you will be successful.
Being in a classroom atmosphere made me more focused and really assisted me in learning and grasping the material. Admissions did a terrific job on selling the program and outlining everything that was needed of me to be successful. The instructor was outstanding and really built up my confidence level on my technical skill set and allowed me to be more confident about locating employment in the field. Finally Career Services really worked hard with me on resume building, interview preparation and assisting me in landing employment as an IT Assistant at a construction company. The entire staff was really focused on my success and supported me throughout the entire process. Now I have a position in the IT field where I am going to be learning new skills every day and truly enjoying what I do."

"I had been working as a Computer Systems Trainer for a State Government agency for two years when I started classes at ComputerTraining.edu. I really liked what I was doing, but knew that there was limited growth potential unless I switched training areas or got some certifications and switched employers. I love working with computers, and was frustrated with being a general “user”.
When I started class, I believed that I knew something about computers. Well I was wrong. I knew nothing, compared to what I learned in class. The education was amazing. There was so much hands on work. Everyone had an open door so questions, comments, and concerns were always easily addressed and responded to. I really felt like they truly cared that I learned and wanted to help me better myself.
The best part about choosing ComputerTraining.edu was that it included Career Services. All the education in the world will not get you a job. The Director of Placement was excellent. She was able to take my boring resume and combine it with my new education and turn it into a masterpiece. With her help, I received so many opportunities and finally found my dream job. I get to work as a Systems Administrator, making more money, with many more opportunities for future growth. It really has been a life changing experience and I owe a lot of that to ComputerTraining.edu."

"The majority of my computer background was personal use. Everything I had learned was self-taught. In my previous job, I set up and wired a handful of home networks, but it was never more than four computers. I had always been interested in the computer field and realized it was time for a career, not just a job. My new job will give me the opportunity to get the necessary experience needed to move up the corporate ladder.
My biggest concern was finding out a way to pay for the course, but I was lucky enough to have a family member help me. New students need to stay focused and set goals. And then work toward those goals. If they accomplish those goals, then they should set higher goals and work toward them.
I am happy and proud of myself for taking the necessary steps needed to find a career that will make me happy and give me the opportunity to grow into an IT professional."

"Enrolling in ComputerTraining.edu has been a great experience with both learning and making new friends that share the same interests in the IT field with me.
I was privileged in the fact that my father has an IT consulting business and he invited me to join him to see if I could find something that I liked to do. It turned out that I enjoyed networking. I remember starting with a USB peer – peer hub and eventually teaching myself how to setup a client – server environment. However there were still a lot of pieces missing and I had to do something. I choose ComputerTraining.edu to help me put the puzzle together. With their help and my desire I feel I have achieved so much in such a short period of time.
For those who are on the fence deciding if you should enroll, I say “What are you waiting for? Enroll!!” As for any advice all I can say is don’t take anything for granted, use ALL of your resources around you, start studying as soon as possible and dedicate yourself to the next six months!
The overall experience has been a great time. My confidence is up tremendously. Also I am proud of what I have accomplished so far.
Thank you ComputerTraining.edu!"

"I’ve always enjoyed playing on my computers, figuring out how things on it works. I finally got sick and tired working out little minimum wage jobs, working my tail off to barely make ends meet.
After hearing ComputerTraining.edu’s radio commercial for about the thousandth time, I decided to “Take the Challenge”. Knowing that I did have some computer experience. I also chose the computer field because, one: it’s something I can do; and two: the field is never going to go away.
Also that it’s going to challenge me every day do I’ll be constantly learning something new and expanding my experience. When I start getting more experience, I’ll be able to financially support my family and I.
Stepping into the ComputerTraining.edu was big for me. Having never done well in school, going back was a challenge. It was important for me to block out all the things I’ve done in the past and to focus on what was in front of me. Also, reminding myself why I was there was a huge help.
To all present and future students, it is important to stay focused and determined in this business. Don’t let failure get in your way. These tests were difficult so keep it up. Most of all you need to put your trust into the entire staff at ComputerTraining.edu. Their number one goal is not to get students in the school, but to make sure they succeed when they get out.
For the first time, I feel that my life is going somewhere. I have more confidence in myself and in my knowledge. I believe there is no limit in what I can achieve."
