"My computer background consists of twenty years building and setting up my own personal computers. I have been working on and installing office equipment on networks for the last five years. After getting my Network+ certification, I decided to seriously investigate getting my MCSE. This would allow me to advance my career in a different direction.
What I like most about my new skills is the new and different challenges I get to face. I enjoy troubleshooting problems. It is exciting to be able to understand the software I have used for years. I never really thought about how intricate that part of a computer/network can be. I sometimes surprise myself when I am asked by colleagues about a problem and with the knowledge I now have, formulate an answer I never dreamed I would say.
I have always had high expectations for myself. My biggest concern was not being able to invest both the time, money, and effort required to become certified wisely. These were the main reasons I chose ComputerTraining.edu as my path to become an MCSE. I investigated several other training companies and venues. The people, the training format, the support structure and assistance at ComputerTraining.edu definitely helped me to get on my way and overcome any set backs I have encountered.
As a single parent, my time is extremely valuable. I realized before enrolling I was going to have to fully focus on my studies. I would advise any new students that you need focus on this completely. Invest the next six, nine, or twelve months to completing your certifications. It opens up so many new and exciting opportunities for the rest of your life all for one year of dedicated study.
ComputerTraining.edu has opened up so many new opportunities, and not just as a career. I have made friends assist me with finding solutions to technical problems I may encounter. They push me to strive for more. As someone once told me, this is the start a lifetime of learning, training, and certifying. I find that extremely exciting."

"After years in electronics I knew I wanted a career in the information technology field but was unsure on how to pursue my goal. I was nervous about re-entering the job market in a field in which I had no prior experience. College would have taken too long and would not be completely oriented around the skills and knowledge that I would need to enter the Information Technology field. ComputerTraining.edu provided a curriculum that focused on computers and Microsoft systems. This training along with the hands on time in class and endless support from the instructor and staff helped me graduate with more than just knowledge, but with experience needed to start a career in the IT field. Now I have a great job in a field that I enjoy, making more money and giving me more time to spend with my family."

"Before ComputerTraining.edu I was at a dead end job and going nowhere. I was making enough money to get by for a person my age, but it certainly wasn't enough. I was not happy at my job and felt expendable. With the training at ComputerTraining.edu, a lot of studying and hard work, I passed my tests and have started my career in the IT field. I am working as an IT Technician doing what I enjoy and feeling a sense of accomplishment. I owe a lot to the instructor and the career services department for spearheading my career in the IT field."

"I had 21 years of Navy Data Communications experience, but no certifications. I tried a year of real estate after I retired, but found the market to be too fickle to sustain a household. I realized that employers needed to see certified in something to separate me for the herd.
I love my new career. Training is a blast and a steady salary with benefits has eased household anxiety. I entered the course with no fear or concern, but in time I realized what I didn’t know. My advice is: Dedicate the whole six months to the course. Study daily until things start to make sense. It’s your future, it’s your investment. Remember that genius is 10% inspiration and 90% perspiration."

"With minimal computer experience, I was able to learn a great deal about the Windows XP operating system and achieve my certification.
My biggest concern was the speed of the course and the ability to keep up with the pace of the material. By setting aside the majority of my free time, I was able to learn at the pace of the class.
For new students starting: read, do the practice questions and ASK QUESTIONS. The instructor was a major help in helping me understand the material.
The Career Services are outstanding. With up to date job posts and openings, it is hard to not find a position."
