"Have you ever woke up and feel like not going to work because of your boss or your job is not getting you anywhere? I have good news for you. ComputerTraining.edu will give you a whole new style of life.

Before attending ComputerTraining.edu, I had no technical skills in the computer field; I was just an end user. Prior to my current job, I was working at the InterContinental Hotel with crazy hours and very hard to get weekends off. ComputerTraining.edu taught me everything that I need to know to be successful in IT field. From the admissions staff to the instructor as well as the job placement person, everyone was very supportive, helpful and friendly.

ComputerTraining.edu provided me with all the tools I need to get hands on training just like in real life. ComputerTraining.edu also prepared me for the Microsoft Exam (MCP, MCSA, MCSE) by offering self-test software that gives me not just an idea about what I will face but the kind of preparation I need before taking the exams.

ComputerTraining.edu helped me build my resume and assistance with finding a job before I even graduated. Now I have my weekends off and my own office. ComputerTraining.edu has changed my life forever."

"My computer background was nothing more than checking e-mails and other minor work related tasks. Besides that, I have had no real formal training until I attend ComputerTraining.edu. I wanted to change my career field mostly due to the fact that technology now has grown tremendously. I of course wanted to join this ever changing field. So becoming certified was a major goal that I set for myself.

I love that fact that I can network with people at a much larger rate than my previous career. I have the ability to learn from others as well as experience different types of activities and challenges that my last career did not offer. My skills have grown and my opportunities to advance are near limitless.

One of my biggest fears starting this program was the uncertainty of passing and beginning a new career. I over came these fears by working hard, getting certified and enlisting the advice and guidance from my instructor, staff and fellow classmates.

I would advise new students attending the program to focus on the new goals they set for themselves and work hard towards them. Paying attention and listening to what the instructor has to say and follow directions carefully are essential tools for success.

Overall, I now have new skills, new friends, new opportunities and a new resource for guidance and advice. With these extra incentives that I received from the program, I now have a bigger brighter and rapidly growing future. A future I thought never existed."

"I didn’t know anything about computers. My country was a very low technology country. We didn’t have a lot of computers at home or in school. Technology was very expensive there. When I came to the U.S. my cousin gave me a computer and I got really interested in how computers work and what they can do. After a few months of using it I got really interested and decided to open it up and see how it worked. By reading the manual of the computer I got really excited about how it all worked and started to research and play with the computer.

After a few years of using computers learning a lot of self-taught information, I really wanted to get an education that would give me hands-on experience. I didn’t want to just read things out of a book. I heard the commercial on the radio and decided I wanted to see what it was all about. When I took the test there were a lot of challenging questions that were beyond my knowledge and I was even more interested and decided to enroll.

After a few months of attending class I got my MCP. I enjoyed the lab work the most and felt it was so helpful. The material was great at explaining the information for the students and the labs gave you practical experience. During school I was able to set up a wireless network and a home network. Whenever my friends or family have problems they call me and I fix it for them.

I was able to obtain a Help Desk position after graduation. I enjoy everything about the position. I enjoy the people and the environment and gaining more experience and knowledge. I am also able to learn better customer service skills in the process. I feel as though I have a career path now. In my former job I didn’t have that and really didn’t enjoy my work. As long as I am working with computers I feel happy because this is what I wanted to do.

I dreamt about being a Network Administrator and now I am on my way to gaining the experience and will hopefully obtain this goal."

"I have been around computers for fifteen years and have built my last two personal computers. I’ve always wanted to work in the computer field and companies are now looking for certifications over college degrees to back up your skill set.

I now am involved in solving technical issues with end user and various clients, which is something that I’ve always wanted to do to begin my career. Helping others and doing something I love versus just going to work everyday in a dead end job has motivated me to continue to study and further my certifications so I can further my career.

My biggest fear was not being able to grasp all the information and not being able to get certified. I studied hard and really applied myself to everything we did in class. With the trainer’s guidance and support from ComputerTraining.edu, I was able to obtain my goals and become a Microsoft Certified Professional. The staff helped to motivate me any time I was having difficulty.

I want tell people who are looking to come to ComputerTraining.edu to not be afraid to follow your dreams, but remember that you must apply yourself in order to be successful in the program. Everyone is here to see you succeed, so, anytime you are having a hard time, the Career Services department and the trainer are here to help and motivate you to get you to where you want to be.

Coming to ComputerTraining.edu has earned me respect and admiration among my peers. It not only has helped me to get my foot in the door of the information technology field, it has changed my life because I now am beginning my career and will be able to grow within a field I love."

"I graduated college in 2004 with my Bachelors degree in Computer Science and thought at the time that I was on track for a great career. After a lot of searching for this great career, I learned that nobody at that time had a need for an entry level programmer. Everybody wanted at least three years experience. But, how do I get this experience if nobody will give you an opportunity? I ended up setting for a sales position for a heavy duty construction company. I worked at this company for two years trying to be content with just having a job in Michigan with our declining economy. However, that didn’t last long, I wanted more for myself and I expected more for myself. After listening to the radio ad about ComputerTraining.edu, I was a little skeptical, but I checked it out anyway. I saw that they could provide hands-on training and I could learn the IT side of the computer world to add to my resume.

I am happy I made the decision. I learned from an exceptional instructor starting in June 2007 and found my dream job in December 2007. I now work for the number one software company in Michigan and I am being paid to get state-of-the-art training at their facilities. ComputerTraining.edu has helped me achieve my goals and find a job that I am actually happy to work at on a daily basis. "

"For the past eight years I taught myself about computers by trying to fix things that went wrong on my family’s PC, making it run faster, and playing games. I spent a lot of time in front of the screen. I enjoyed working on a computer much more than I did working on anything else. It still took me a while to figure out that I should take it to a career level. I watched a lot of my friends move out on their own, and then shortly head back home because their fast food job wasn’t bringing in enough money. I wanted to move out on my own too, but I wasn’t going to settle for barely scraping by. Finally, I heard the commercial for ComputerTraining.edu on the radio, and I knew I wanted to try starting a career in the IT field.

I already can sit in front of a computer for hours without getting bored, so getting paid for it was really a no-brainer. Now instead of figuring out why my computer isn’t working properly, I help other people with theirs. I make a lot more money than I did before, doing something I actually enjoy. The certifications have given me a lot of possibilities for my future. I’m really happy that I went through the hard work it took to start getting them. The six months I spent in class really flew by!

Initially I was worried about being able to get a job after going through the course, but I trusted my instructor and to reassure myself I checked Monster.com and similar websites. I found out there are IT jobs all over the place, and it was just a matter of finding what was right for me.

The best advice I could give is to just work hard, and that you aren’t going to be in school for very long. Most importantly, get your certifications and listen to Career Services. They are there to help you and they really do everything that they can to do so. The Career Services program found my career for me; all I had to do was show up for the interview.

The whole experience was great. I honestly had the best classroom experience ever, and it didn’t really feel like school. I had fun learning, the instructor was great and participating and interaction with other students never felt forced. I’m twenty-one and making more money from day one of my job than either of my parents ever have. I have more opportunities than any one of my peers, and best of all, this is something I enjoy doing, instead of just making money with."

"After working two dead end jobs right out of college, I though it was high time I went back to school. What pushed me over the edge was that every time one of my friends or family had a computer problem, they would come to me. So I thought, “Hey why not do something with computers?” I took the Online Skills Challenge and I was called to set up a class audit. Seeing all the hands-on work that the students were doing and how helpful the instructor was, I knew this is where I wanted to go. Even after seeing some other schools.

I feel my training at Computer Training was a very worthwhile experience. I obtained a much deeper understanding of my computer abilities. The various exercises I was taught allowed me to perform my duties much more concisely. As a result of my training, I feel more qualified to perform my job. The instructor did an outstanding job of presenting the material, he really knew his stuff.

All I have to really say to anyone thinking about coming to ComputerTraining.edu is DO IT! The instructors are great; the hands on labs reinforce everything that is learned in class. The material may seem hard or over your head at times, but don’t worry too much about that. Because in the end all the pieces will fall into place like it did for me! "
