A Training Center is only as good as the students that fill its classrooms.  If our students are not successful, we are not successful.   Below are just a few of the many student success stories happening at ComputerTraining.edu.

Student Success Stories
"Prior to attending ComputerTraining.edu, most of my computer knowledge was self-taught. I started out when I was younger taking old record players and VCR’s apart to see how they worked. Then my dad got an old PC tower and decided to get newer components and install them himself as a hobby. I watched as he installed a new motherboard, processor, and memory. Then we got another old tower, and he helped me put together my own PC. Over the years I built a small network with two PC's and a wireless laptop. After seeing how much I enjoyed working with computers, my wife finally gave me the push I needed to pursue a formal education in IT.

My experience at ComputerTraining.edu was phenomenal. I was pretty nervous about going back to school and was worried my limited knowledge wouldn't be enough. The first meeting I had with the Director of Admissions and instructor changed the nervousness to excitement. Seeing how excited and passionate the instructor was as he was telling me about the program told me that I had made the right choice. It was a tough course, but as long as I kept up with the reading and labs, the Instructor's lectures made it much easier. His knowledge of the material was incredible.

With the knowledge I gained through this course and the help of the awesome Career Services program, I was able to get a job working at a Data Center before I even graduated! I have had so much fun in the course, and now I'm enjoying my new career as an Operations Technician. The best part is no matter how much time goes by, the Career Services department is always available to assist me if I decide to look in a new direction and the Instructor is always available if I have a question. This was definitely a step in the right direction!"

"Computers have been a big part of my career for the past ten years. My interest in computers grew stronger the more dependent my job description became. This dependency grows continuously within the industry. The pressure to keep up sparked my interest in certification.

Thanks to ComputerTraining.edu and the trainers and staff, I am not afraid to grow with the industry. I am confident that I can lead the field in learning and growing with technology.

I wasn’t sure I could keep up with the pace of the course! Time goes by quickly. Thanks to support from the staff and especially from my family, along with determination I survived…and I’m so glad I pulled it off.

ComputerTraining.edu will give you the skills and direction you need to succeed. Whether you want to start anew or boost your current potential, commit to excellence, do the work and you will succeed!"

"My time at ComputerTraining.edu was one of the best experiences of my life. I had some basic knowledge of computers before I entered class. I spent four years in college and can say that I've never been offered the chance to change my life in such a dramatic way. The level of the instruction that I received was the highest I have had including college. After just six months I felt much more confident in myself and my knowledge. The instructor in the class was one of the best I have ever had the opportunity to learn from in my whole life. I was able to land my first job in the computer field with the incredible help of the Career Services department.

With my new job I am making the kind of money that I never expected after just such a short time in school. I am very happy with my new job doing what I really love and I am sure that I would never have been able to get a position like this without the instruction that I received at ComputerTraining.edu. There are not enough good things I can say about my time with ComputerTraining.edu. I learned the skills to help me succeed in the computer field and the confidence to get the kind of job I thought I would never be able to get. This program changed my life."

"Over the last ten years, I have done a lot of self study and personal computer work. I felt that ComputerTraining.edu would be the best fit for me in getting my foot in the IT field. I wanted a career in IT and felt that the certifications would help me advance in the field. There is so much room for growth in the IT field and I will be able to advance in a field that I really enjoy working in.

My biggest concern was not being able to understand and grasp all of the concepts. I realized that it was easier to understand than I originally had thought. My trainer was always there to assist me any time I had a question or a concern about what we were doing in class. The hands on training and support of everyone at ComputerTraining.edu reassured me that I had made the right decision.

My advice to all students entering the program would be to come in with an open mind and make sure you get the most out of every lab build. The availability of the trainer and the support of the staff at ComputerTraining.edu will help to ease your transition into the IT field and make your dreams come true.

The overall experience from coming to ComputerTraining.edu has given me the opportunity to get my foot in the IT field. This is the first step in staring my career in a new, exciting industry."

"Before I came to ComputerTraining.edu I was a high school drop out.  I had gotten my GED and was working in a very low paying job at a restaurant.  I knew I needed a change and had heard commercials for ComputerTraining.edu on the radio a lot so I decided to check it out.  It seemed like something that interested me so I signed up.

The instructor was great and the classes were fast paced.  Thanks to the career assistance of ComputerTraining.edu’s Career Services, just four months into the program, I landed a job in the IT field making three times what I was making before."

"My background with computers is mostly through home use and has been a hobby of mine. When something would break, I always wanted to find out what was wrong and how I could fix it. I considered getting certified so that I could solidify what I knew and hopefully make a career change. My biggest concerns about the program were the cost and the amount of time that needed to be dedicated to it. I was worried about getting into something that wouldn’t pay off. My biggest piece of advice to give those who are interested in the program is that you need to be serious about it. It’s very important that you set time aside to dedicate towards studying on a nightly basis. I also recommend reaching out to other students and the instructors for help when you need it.

Overall, my experience at ComputerTraining.edu has changed my life. I now have a career with a worldwide company, the opportunity for a lot of growth and advancement and the potential to increase my income."

"I was working for a well known retailer in a position that I didn’t like with very little prospects for advancement. I had decided that I needed to find another position, but decided that I didn’t want to pursue the same problems I had with another employer. I had always been looked to as the “IT Guy” at work, so I decided that I would pursue a position in the IT industry.

I knew that I couldn’t just walk in off of the street to try to get the job I wanted with my only work experience being retail. I knew that I would have to get certified. I started to look around at my options, and heard about ComputerTraining.edu on a local radio station. I looked into the company and went onto the website and took the Online Skills Challenge. I found that I had a really good knowledge base to start with and that with ComputerTraining.edu’s help, I could get the certification I needed.

Not only did I receive top notch training and hands-on experience, but I also received those coveted certifications and help finding a new career from the Career Counselors.

Thanks to ComputerTraining.edu, I now have the career that I had always wanted, but was too afraid to try to pursue."
