"I started at ComputerTraining.edu with no formal education in computers. Everything I had learned I had taught myself either playing with different things or watching someone else. After a while, people started asking me for help with programs and wanted me to show them how I had done something. That started me thinking about my career in food service and how I had always wanted to learn more about computers. The timing was right for me to go back to school but I didn’t want to commit to a four year college program. I still have a mortgage to pay and needed to continue to work full time. That’s when I decided to seriously think about ComputerTraining.edu.

I had heard the ad on the radio many times and the school seemed to be just what I was looking for. The hours fit perfectly with my scheduling needs. The instructor is great! He made class fun and he was excellent at explaining the material. He was able to give anyone extra help when they needed it. There is a lot to learn, especially for someone with a limited background in computers, but if you participate in class and do the assignments you really feel like you walk out of school with a good foundation; I know I did.

The program does not stop there though. The Career Services department is outstanding. I got help with my resume and creating a portfolio. We had job fairs where we met different employers and found out what they are looking for. Not only was I placed fulltime in a position in IT support, I was given an invaluable opportunity to participate in an internship that fit with my schedule for several months. I know if I ever need help with job assistance again, I could call the school for help. I really feel that ComputerTraining.edu is very committed to the success of their students, and my new career proves it!"

"When I started at ComputerTraining.edu, I had no computer background. I made the decision that I needed a career change. I wanted the opportunity for advancement and growth in a growing field. I am currently working on my certifications to assist me in obtaining my goals.

What I like most about my career is that it challenges me to new levels of learning. The opportunities that are available in this career are extensive in many different varieties. The skills that I now hold will help me in a career that will span a lifetime.

I actually had no fears before starting my schooling, just pure excitement. The thought of starting a new career, with new challenges kept my attitude positive. So, needless to say, I had to overcome nothing.

The advice I give to the new students starting the program is to stay focused, study hard, and ask questions when in doubt. I would also encourage them to utilize all the tools available to them through ComputerTraining.edu such as job placement via job fairs and the instructors. Stay in contact with the staff upon graduation to help with future goals, they will be there.

ComputerTraining.edu has changed my life in a positive way. I now wake up with a sense of purpose and security knowing that I made the right decision in changing my career."

"When I graduated college, I entered into various positions in sales. The thing was that I felt I had no true skill except for the ability to interact with people. At the end of every day I would feel horrible. Either the customer did not want to buy what I was selling or the customer did buy my products and ended up being disappointed with them. This is when I knew I needed a change.

I was very skeptical about signing up for ComputerTraining.edu, but I decided to take the leap. I do not think that I could have made it through the six months without the sheer enthusiasm and intelligence displayed by my instructor. This is not an easy course, but if you are dedicated to improving yourself and willing to spend the time to study, this is the course for you.

Within one month of my graduation date from ComputerTraining.edu, I was receiving more phone calls in one week from interested employers than I did in my entire four years of college. I now work for a great company and have unlimited opportunity for advancement thanks to my training and hard work!"

"I have always had a passion for computers. I heard about ComputerTraining.edu on the radio. The advertisement got my interest, so I tested my knowledge on their website.

The next day I received a call from a representative and I was really excited. I enrolled in their classes and I was on my way to learning more and more and gaining valuable computer knowledge.

Although the class was challenging, I was determined to learn. Now I enjoy my new career in the IT field and the sky’s the limit!"

"I got involved in computers in 1997. I attended school for computer programming but did not find myself to be successful in that field. Over the past few years, I have beat myself down just to make a dime. I delivered beer for a couple of years. That was good money, but very physically demanding. Just last year I proceeded to become a certified medical administrative specialist, thinking I was going to make decent money, like I was making doing beer delivery. But, I was wrong. I capped out in this field at $11/hour. I followed through with taking the Online Skills Challenge for ComputerTraining.edu. I am now an MCP and on my may to becoming an MCSA. My overall goal is to become an MCSE.

I am now working in the field doing computer migration. The one thing I like about doing this is I am able to help people with what I am good at. I am always challenged with new tasks; my work environment changes every day.

Upon entering this program, I was concerned with the fear of not understanding what I was supposed to be learning. I challenged myself to finally stick with it and study. All of the studying has paid off. Things that used to be hard are now very easy.

I would suggest to anyone entering the program to stick with it. Get your instructor if you do not understand something. Remember: The only dumb question is the question you did not ask."

"Before I attended ComputerTraining.edu I had a very good understanding of computer hardware and basic knowledge of applications but no real formal training. I realized that it would take a long time to advance my career attending a regular two-year school when I could only attend at night.

One of the concerns I had before enrolling at ComputerTraining.edu was the cost of the class, however I was very impressed by the facility and the knowledge of the admissions staff, that I had no hesitation about signing up.

ComputerTraining.edu is worth every penny if you take advantage of all the resources available to you and stay on top of the work assigned.

My new career is great. I have a job doing what I like in a field that is challenging and always changing."

"I really didn't have any type of a professional background with computers. I was a part of the first generation to really grow up with them. I used them throughout school for word processing. Later on when the Internet became popular, I would surf and check e-mail. I had been floating around from dead-end job to dead-end job for years and decided to get on a career path.

My favorite part of my new career is that I get to work in an intellectually stimulating environment. Things are constantly changing. From one moment to the next I don't know what problems or puzzles I'm going to be facing.

I didn't really have any fears or concerns going into it. Honestly, I hadn't thought too much about it. New students should be sure to listen to their instructors, and not just as instructors, but also as people with strong experiences in IT. My instructor had priceless advice that is worth more than the cost of admission!

I'm in control of my life in a way I never quite imagined before. I actually have a potential career path! For the first time it's not just about picking up a job to make a few extra bucks or to get by and I have ComputerTraining.edu to thank for it!"
