A Training Center is only as good as the students that fill its classrooms.  If our students are not successful, we are not successful.   Below are just a few of the many student success stories happening at ComputerTraining.edu.

Student Success Stories
"I’ve been working with computers since a very early age, and only recently decided to switch my career path to take advantage of my skills, knowledge, and desires.  I have been enjoying this decision ever since, as it has made available opportunities that, until recently, I could only dream about.  I must say that I was a little concerned about signing up for the ComputerTraining.edu program, as I wasn’t sure I’d be able to find a position quickly enough to allow me to repay the loan to finance the course.  I finally decided that the risk was more than outweighed by the opportunities that would shortly present themselves. Once I put myself on the market, I was quickly overwhelmed by prospective employers, and was quickly offered a position as a Network Engineer with a salary increase of approximately 110%.

I would advise any prospective student to prepare themselves for several months of intense study and training.  As you begin testing you will quickly find practical applications for the knowledge and skills you will be gaining from the course, and each passed test grants a fantastic feeling of accomplishment.  Upon gaining your MCP, MCSA, or MCSE, you will find that many doors have been opened, and will have to carefully decide where your new career will take you.  I sincerely believe that making the decision to attend the ComputerTraining.edu course was one of the wisest choices I have made in many years."

"At age 51, I was making a whole new start – changing careers entirely.  It was decades since I’d been in school and, while I’d always been good with computers, I wasn’t an IT guru by any stretch of the imagination.

From the very beginning, the folks at ComputerTraining.edu were helpful and welcoming.  Before my classes even started, we met with our instructor several times to accustom ourselves to the classroom environment.  Once formal classes began, the instructor and the interns worked tirelessly to assist us in mastering the information and skills we were learning.

Career Services worked with us from the beginning as well.  Within the first three months, we were submitting the first drafts of our resumes.  The Placement Director spoke with us frequently throughout the program, both as a group and one-on-one, to make sure we knew what we had to do.  She alerted us to many opportunities and coordinated Career Fairs to introduce us to prospective employers. She was committed to helping me to find the perfect job – and she did.

If I had to choose a single word to characterize the staff at ComputerTraining.edu, it would be Encouraging.  There were times when I felt like I’d never master the volume of information I was struggling to learn.  They didn’t let me give up.  There were times when I feared I wouldn’t find a job at the same level as the one I was leaving.  Again, the support I received carried me through.

The program at ComputerTraining.edu is challenging.  It requires the student to learn a huge amount of information in a relatively short time.  However, I never felt that I was doing it alone.  My classmates, my teacher, and the entire staff were working with me to see me through.

Thank you, ComputerTraining.edu, for helping me to make the changes I needed to make to move forward in my life!"

"Before coming to ComputerTraining.edu, I was working in IT in the army.  The reason why I considered coming to ComputerTraining.edu was for the certifications and hands on training in order to be able to grow professionally.

The thing I like most about my new career is that is always different.  The opportunities are endless and I love working with my hands.

I would say my biggest fear before coming here would not be not knowing whether I had enough self-discipline to do the necessary study.  I overcame this issue by talking with my instructor, he helped me through it all.

The advice I give new students is this:  It is only six months.  You can make the effort and get through this.  Study every night for at least two hours and go to class! I learned how to be more professional.  I learned how to study and think and process problems. This course changed my life for the better."

"I graduated with a Degree in Computer and Information Technology in 2002. At the time I was not successful in finding a career that suited me. I worked in the Social Service Field for several years and felt that this was not where I wanted to be in my career.

I choose to attend ComputerTraining.edu to further my education within the Technology field. Shortly after receiving my MCP, I was offered a job working with the State of New Jersey. Currently I am working hard on completing my MCSE and MCSA. With hard work and dedication you can became very successful in the Information Technology field."

"Two years ago I was seriously considering making a career change.  I had always been the "techie" in my office, and decided to get some formal training and see where it would take me.

So I enrolled at ComputerTraining.edu and as a result I am finally enjoying a lifestyle I always wanted: Good hours, decent pay and great benefits, with plenty of room to grow.  I obtained my first regular IT job a few months after I graduated.  The job was only part-time with a large computer service firm, but it lead directly to the full-time position I now have.  While I was working at the part-time job, one of my company's customers had a chance to observe me on a regular basis, and they were so impressed with my technical skills and knowledge that they offered me a fulltime position.  It really is a dream job, as the location is only fifteen minutes from my home and I enjoy the interaction with my co-workers and the chance to learn more.

I truly believe that ComputerTraining.edu gave me ability to build a much better future for myself and my family."

"Before I started at ComputerTraining.edu, I was self taught in Windows 3.1.  I have always been fascinated by computers and enjoyed the challenge of fixing them when something went wrong.  After ten years of encouragement from my husband to go back to school, I finally took the plunge.  I realized that without an education, I would never be able to get into the computer field.

I was able to get through the program with a lot of prioritization and time management.  Anyone who goes through the program must have the desire and drive. It helped me to take things day by day while still keeping the big picture in mind.

My new job doesn’t even seem like a “job.”  Now that I am in a field I enjoy, my job seems less like work and more like fun. My new employer offers many more opportunities and perks than any of my old employers. Going through this program opened a lot more doors."
