"My experience with computers prior to enrolling at ComputerTraining.edu mainly dealt with web and graphic design. Having studied music in college and spending more than ten years in the music industry and making no financial progress, I was inspired to seek a career change. Outside of music, the only thing that I enjoyed was computers and taking these classes was the perfect opportunity to get my foot in the door of this extensive field.
The first few weeks of class were extremely challenging, especially learning about aspects of the Microsoft OS any casual user takes for granted. If it weren’t for the tremendous support from my instructor and fellow classmates, I don’t know if I would have been able to get through it all.
The cliché “never give up” is an understatement when taking these courses. On several occasions it was almost unfeasible to read another chapter, take another self-test, drink another pot of coffee and most of all, register to take another exam! The most important thing to look back on when you’re right in the thick of it, was how determined you were at the beginning and how rewarding the outcome will be. Always remember that if you prove that you’re putting forth the effort you have the greatest resource in the world in your instructor and he/she will always be there for you. From the first exam to every other exam I take, my instructor will always be the first person I call after passing or failing. I know she will always be there supporting me.
Now I am working with an outstanding and successful IT consulting firm, there is no ceiling on my career. I am making more than double my salary from only two months ago and my company has already subsidized further training and certifications. Prior to taking my first Microsoft exam, my instructor told us that we know a lot more than we give ourselves credit for and she couldn’t have been more precise. The training I attained from ComputerTraining.edu far exceeded my expectations. They were immediately valuable the first day on the job and still are to this day. It is amazing to think about how much I’ve learned in the past six months. I would have to say it’s without question comparable to an entire year of college, if not an entire four years!"

"After working many years of physical labor at low salaries, I decided I wanted to make a change. I had always enjoyed working with computers and so I chose to pursue a BS degree in Information Technology to start me on the road. However, after completing my education and attaining my BS degree, I found that I still could not break into the industry. Employers wanted experience and certifications, neither of which I had.
I kept hearing the commercial ads for ComputerTraining.edu while at work and on the road and decided to look into the program. I had already spent a great deal of money on a degree that was not paying me back and was apprehensive about creating more debt.
Fortunately, I took the Online Skills Challenge and then visited the center. I found that the program was everything the commercial ads said it would be. The program gave me the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and certifications; exactly what the employers were looking for all along.
Thanks to ComputerTraining.edu and their dedicated team of professionals, I am now in IT field and have already received a promotion and salary increase. The program is not easy, but if you give it your all…you too will be starting a career in the IT field, as well."

"I was always interested in computers. A lot of what I knew of I was self taught. I thought I would really want to make a career out of this. I heard the ad on the radio and I decided to give it a shot! I wanted to challenge myself and I knew it was time to move on to something I would enjoy doing everyday.
The instructor was enjoyable, he was very open and very willing to help with questions, concerns, encouragement. I come from a non-technical background and I was afraid to take the course thinking that others had experience. That was not the case at all. Perseverance is key, do not be afraid to ask questions, help is right there! Do not be afraid to challenge yourself. Keep the lines of communication open and keep an open mind.
I worked with the Career Services department to set up several interviews. I landed a job shortly after graduation, and I have been working there for over a year now. I am a help desk analyst for a banking company and learning new things everyday!"

"My computer background was never a technical one. I used my personal computer in a general way. However, I had the opportunity to observe technicians at work in the field and get a slight understanding of the systems involved in creating computer based network and the systems themselves. I considered certification at ComputerTraining.edu simply because I felt that becoming a certified Information Technology technician will be my path into a career I enjoy. The IT field will give me the opportunity to attain higher office, which is something essential to building a career. I have worked in fields that did not offer much growth opportunity even though they were a good source of income.
Before entering ComputerTraining.edu, I was concerned that I might not have enough motivation to at least complete the program given its pace and the hours that I would have to devote to it. It was not an easy task but I trusted in the fact that the opportunities for my future far outweighed the discomfort of long hours and lack of sleep. I would advise future students of the program to fully commit themselves and make attending the classes at ComputerTraining.edu an uncompromised priority."

"I had always been interested in working with computers and considered a change to better my career, so I decided it was time to make something happen.
Before starting at ComputerTraining.edu, I really wasn't sure what I wanted to do, but I knew I didn't want to be an administrative assistant forever. When I heard the commercials on the radio, I thought I would see what they had to offer. When I first came to ComputerTraining.edu I had a good knowledge of computers and Windows, but no certifications to back my personal experience. I needed a way of getting the education I needed but I had no plans of going to college.
ComputerTraining.edu was the best way to start my career. They opened the door to the endless possibilities and challenges a career in computers can be. I feel I can overcome any obstacle to pursue my goals in the future."

"I have worked around computers most my life, but made the decision to attend ComputerTraining.edu to obtain my Microsoft Certifications and document my knowledge. I was surprised to find how much I didn’t know and how much I learned from the excellent course material and outstanding instructional and support staff at ComputerTraining.edu.
My Employer also valued the training and certifications received through ComputerTraining.edu. After completing the course and receiving my MCP and MCSA, I was promoted and increased my salary by $15,000.00 by the end of the course, with an additional $30,000 in raises scheduled over the next eighteen months. I am looking forward to completing my testing for my MCSE and would recommend ComputerTraining.edu to anyone wanting to better their job market position."
