"I grew up in a household where computers were always around. I started toying around with them when I was younger, which eventually led to me taking them apart and building my own computers. I had always considered getting into the IT field; however I didn’t think I had the right skills or knowledge to do so. I knew the certifications were my ticket into the field.
After getting certified, I was able to do something that I enjoy and get paid for it at the same time. In the IT field, there are unlimited opportunities for advancement and I can see myself doing this for years to come.
My concerns were that I was going to have a hard time at ComputerTraining.edu like I did when I was in high school. However, the instructor was very helpful and made it easier than I had expected to succeed in the class. I would recommend that incoming students should be prepared for an accelerated course, and to make sure you allow yourself the time and effort to keep up with the pace of the curriculum.
ComputerTraining.edu has not only given me entry into the IT field, but now I feel a sense of accomplishment. I’m working a job that I can be proud of and finally feel that I have a sense of direction in my life."

"I have been using computers since the early 90’s, even back in the DOS days. I have always been fascinated with computers and the whole idea about what computers actually do. I didn’t really have any IT experience; everything is mostly self-taught for me. I knew I wanted to have a career in the Information Technology field and I knew that certifications were one of the only ways to really get noticed and break into the field successfully.
What I like most about my new position in IT is that there is the possibility of new and interesting things to happen every day. I have the opportunity to see technology in action. I am able to watch programs function and learn how to use them. I am constantly learning new things every day.
My advice to new students coming into the program is to have fun with it. Don’t stress yourself out and make it too hard on yourself. I know for me, I was surprised at how well I actually did, and if you put in the time and effort, there is no question you can do well.
The overall experience of ComputerTraining.edu has entirely changed my career. I went from a position where I was doing physical labor to a great professional opportunity in an office setting. I feel like I have improved my life and I will be able to continue to better the way I live in this career path."

"First going into class I was scared to death. Just knowing the basic skills of a computer, I was hesitant about signing on, but dead end job after dead end job gave me the push to do better. The instructor was very informative; anything we did not understand, he would take the time to go through it and give one on one attention if needed, he did not leave us high and dry to figure it out ourselves. The Director of Placement was excellent too. She worked with us one on one with our resumes, mock interviews and finding jobs.
I now hold my MCTS and my MCP certifications and working on my MCSA. I have now landed a job with a big corporation with great potential to excel. Advice to anyone thinking of this career, just do it. If not, later you may be kicking yourself. As long as you apply yourself and do all the lessons, you will go a long way. Every time I look at my certifications on the wall, I am glad I did."

"I was introduced to ComputerTraining.edu by their radio ads. At first I thought that the classes sounded interesting, but I did not think too much more about the ads. Then one night while I was re-considering my current employment, I remembered the radio ads. So I went online to check out their website and took the Online Skills Challenge, just to see where it led. After the enrollment process I understood that the classes were a big commitment, but I was encouraged by the knowledge and support of the staff at ComputerTraining.edu and knew it was the opportunity that I was looking for.
Now after having completed the course, I am so glad that I took the time to check out ComputerTraining.edu. Their course helped me get into an area of technology that I enjoy and excel in. It will also give me the confidence to expand my Microsoft training and go for more certifications.
My advice for incoming students would be to ask questions. The staff at ComputerTraining.edu is very knowledgeable, but to tap into the full learning potential ask as many questions in class as you can, you will be surprise how much more there is to learn."

"I was self taught on Windows 2000 and Vista, had previous help desk experience back in 2001 – 2002 and wanted a career change to improve my status and provide for my family. The staff at ComputerTraining.edu is very experienced and helpful in every department from instructors to administrators, they are very team oriented.
The amount of the workload was a concern at first but I overcame it from the support of the instructors. I would definitely recommend this program for everyone needing direction in life.
This program has changed my life by boosting my confidence and making me feel capable in doing anything I set my mind to!

"I had only home experience with computers before I entered into the program. I knew that I had the diagnostic abilities and experience from being a mechanic, to troubleshoot computers. My biggest reason for wanting a career change was my then two year old daughter. I wanted to be able to provide a great life for her. My position at Hershey Foods allows me to help solve people’s problems and that is the most rewarding feeling. As I am just starting out, the opportunities are endless, provided I continue with my certifications.
My only fear about entering the program was if I would be able to actually learn at my age. Our instructor was how I overcame that fear. He made the material understandable, and made me work hard. My best advice would be to work hard and use every resource that the school provides. From that, you can go home from work every day feeling happy and fulfilled and not dread going to work the next day."

"When I decided to go back to school again I was nervous. It had been a while since I studied for anything and I knew that it would be stressful. The challenges of new people, a new schedule, and new information to deal with seemed overwhelming at first. I was also worried whether or not I would be able to a job in this economy after graduation. I wondered if I would be knowledgeable enough to do well in the IT field. I have always enjoyed working with computers as a hobby and I thought about how great it would be to begin a career doing something that I loved. After much thought, I decided to take the plunge and enroll.
The training I received over the six months was great. The trainer was so helpful and knowledgeable and as the course went on, my confidence grew. Toward the end, I thought back to the ‘me’ of a few months ago and how much I had grown and was able to apply myself. I began the course asking the IT questions and now I feel confident answering them. I gained a lot of knowledge and experience and with the help of the Director of Placement, I was able to secure a job as soon as school was over! I look forward to continually growing in the IT industry and am excited about climbing the ladder I see clearly for the first time."
