A Training Center is only as good as the students that fill its classrooms.  If our students are not successful, we are not successful.   Below are just a few of the many student success stories happening at ComputerTraining.edu.

Student Success Stories
"I have always enjoyed computers and setting up offices and friends and family. I have used computers often in positions for three different companies I have owned since 1992. I like the challenge of getting things up and running and educating users how to resolve most things on their own.

My biggest fear coming into the program was the cost; however I overcame that because I wanted a new change.  You must commit to yourself and to your family and put everything into the class.  Know that if you stay on a timeline with the course material, you will pass all your exams.

My life now is very good and very different because I actively pursued jobs in conjunction with ComputerTraining.edu’s career placement.  You can become very selective and picky when more offers are on the table for you.  I now have my experience and my certifications.  This affords me continued confidence in job security and upward mobility in the industry.  Thank you ComputerTraining.edu!"

"Before ComputerTraining.edu I had always enjoyed working with computers but did not have any real grounding in them. The course took what knowledge I had and expanded upon that greatly.

Before ComputerTraining.edu, I had nowhere to take my career. Now I am able to work towards becoming a Network Engineer, to be able to design maintain and develop network infrastructure for companies, and I look forward to my goals. Before ComputerTraining.edu I was not going to be able to command any decent salary for myself. Now working in IT, an entry level position will pay as much as my previous job and I will continue to move forward from here.

After the ComputerTraining.edu program and earning my MCSA certification, I have my choice of challenging, rewarding positions with a variety of companies. All of them will utilize the skills I learned from ComputerTraining.edu. My advice for anybody joining the program would be to believe in yourself, believe in what you are able to do and know that you can succeed in the program. It is not an easy course. Stay focused, study and you can make it!"

"Before I decided to come to ComputerTraining.edu, I was unemployed and driving a truck with a CDL license.  I knew I needed a change to keep the house and family together. I heard the add on the radio to attend this school. I thought more and more about it. I knew it was something I really enjoyed and would like to get into, so I gave it a shot and took the Online Skills Challenge. Before I knew it I was starting school, 25 years after I attended Drexel.  I have to say, this course was not easy. I had to keep up with the reading and complete all labs, quizzes, and tests to stay on track.  The practice exams were a huge help, so utilize them!  Since I graduated I am working a steady job doing desktop support and deployment teams for a company. I am building my resume as we speak to move on to hopes and dreams of an administrator position."

"Before going to ComputerTraining.edu, I was working as a line cook at three different kitchens. One was full time and two were part time. I was coming home from one kitchen to get ready to go to another one.  When I heard a radio advertisement for ComputerTraining.edu, I started to think about the few computer classes I took in high school and how much I actually enjoyed them.  Not having the slightest idea of what to expect, I decided to try it.

I walked in afraid that this was going to be too advanced and that I would not understand what the instructor was saying.  After a few classes, I realized that it is not as complicated as I feared.  The instructor was very knowledgeable and the rest of the staff was professional.  The classroom was comfortable and everyone was willing to lend a helping hand.

After classes were finished, the career advisor found me two jobs right away.  I thought I would be stuck working in kitchens for the rest of my life.  Now I am finishing up an internship with a successful business and I am getting ready to help my family establish a new business.  ComputerTraining.edu has given me the tools and skills I need to be a success.  If I can offer any advice to someone just starting at ComputerTraining.edu, I would tell them that class does not end when you leave.  If you want to make the most of your time at ComputerTraining.edu you must keep studying and learn when you are at home!"

"I was in customer service for over six years and there was just no where for me to advance. I was at the top of my position. I was working with computers and enjoyed answering co-workers questions about the computer so I decided to take the next step and get certified.  I really like the challenge of talking to someone with a computer problem and being able to diagnose the problem and fixing it.

My biggest concern about taking this program was knowing whether or not I would be able to make the training I received pay for the time and money invested. It was not an easy road. I was very diligent with my studies and in the end, it paid off for me. Pay close attention to the labs and practice, practice, practice.

Since completing the ComputerTraining.edu program, I now understand much more about what is going on behind the scenes. I have greater insight into how computers are put together and what can be done with them and I’m enjoying making a living doing just that."

"I run a fully functional recording studio, which runs Windows on all of my systems.  My partner and I use various hardware and software along with all sorts of stand alone gear that requires the benefit of digital recording and mastering.

Besides having a need to better maintain the systems I run, I needed a career that would benefit my current situation… preparing for a baby.  I always toyed with different career ideas, but nothing really stuck.  My career now as an IT professional has opened a world of knowledge and opportunity in a new high tech world.

The advice I would give new students is to study hard!  Commit the next six months to this and it will be over before you know it.  And never stop until you’ve attained your MCSE.  It will pay the bills."

"From the time I was in high school, I have had the desire to work in the computer-related technology field. Working on my own systems and solving problems for friends and family gave me great satisfaction and I knew that I would enjoy doing the same thing professionally. For several years after college I found myself in jobs that were unsatisfying and gave me no opportunity to peruse my interest in computer technology. I knew that in order to make a successful professional transition I would need formal training.

ComputerTraining.edu seemed to be what I needed but I was hesitant to commit the time and money it would take to complete the course. I decided to take the course because I knew, without it, I would be stuck in a career with no future. This course gave me the skills and experience I needed. Now, driving to work every day to a company that is on the cutting edge of telecommunications and computer technology, I feel that I made the right decision.

The course is challenging, but if you make the commitment and stick with it, the experience and certifications you receive will allow you to pursue the career of your dreams."
