"My computer background consisted of about ten years of Army use, with personal experience in designing and building home systems. I decided to seek my certifications and prepare myself for retirement from the military.
What I like most about my new career is the new challenges it brings me. The start of my new career brings additional learning and use of hands and brains to troubleshoot failures. The opportunities in the IT field are pretty much endless and there are always new techniques and skills to learn. It is an ever changing career with many opportunities to excel and progress.
My biggest fear of joining this program was the idea that after eighteen years of working in a field I had to go back to school. I was concerned about having to arrange my schedule and manage my time between work, family and school, balancing all of them. I overcame this by having great support from my wife and children and their understanding. I knew that this was what I needed to do for our future after the military.
The only advice I can give new students to this program is be ready to put a lot of effort and time into the skills being taught and to forget what you think you know about computer operating systems. This program teaches you the Microsoft way of completing the tasks and those are the skills you need to pass the exams.
The overall experience has changed my life. I’ve gotten back into the mindset that you have to continue learning to keep advancing in life. It has taught me that you can enjoy your work if you just get into a field that you enjoy being in."

"As a travel agent for nearly ten years, I decided that it was time for a career change. I wanted a career that had a lot of growth and earning potential. I kept hearing the ads on the radio for ComputerTraining.edu and always had an interest in computers so I decided to pursue a career in IT.
Taking this course was one of the best steps I have ever taken. Having two kids and a full time job, it was a challenge for me to complete the course. During the six-month program, I put all of my extra time into studying, to get through the course. My instructor was an excellent influence and encouraged me to keep up with my studies. The Career Services department is excellent at helping students to create a great resume and gives many helpful interview tips. After completing the program, I was able to stay with my same employer and move into their IT department.
I would definitely recommend this program to anyone interested in making a career change into the fastest growing and most exciting industry."

"There isn't enough time to really explain how great the ComputerTraining.edu center is, or how deeply this experience changed my life! But, if I had to focus on one thing about my experience it would be the staff. Not often do you find such dedicated people helping others reach a level of success that otherwise might seem impossible.
From the moment I entered ComputerTraining.edu, I felt like success was right around the corner. The staff was informative at the most detailed levels. Never did I find myself wishing I had more help, I had more than enough and if I really needed more I knew where to get it. Even when I felt like all hope was lost, there was always someone willing to show me that all I need to do was keep trying. It was an experience that made me realize my own true potential to make things happen for myself. Whether it was my teachers, administration or my career advisor, I always felt that I was getting the very best assistance anyone could hope to receive. I doubt anyone could find a better overall experience."

"My experience with computers has ranged from playing with personal computers as a teenager to studying computer science in college, to working with networks at my previous job. I began thinking about getting my certifications after having conversations with a few IT professionals I know. They all seemed to truly enjoy what they are doing, and I wanted that satisfaction from my job. The career I was in was not providing me with room for advancement and was lacking the excitement I look forward to when I go to work.
I am very excited about starting my new career. The company that I am working for is doing cutting edge work. Even though I am going to have to continue to learn at my new job, I feel confident that the skills I have learned at ComputerTraining.edu are going to serve me well.
I wasn’t fearful about entering the program at ComputerTraining.edu because I believed in myself. I knew coming in that I wanted a better life and a new career. If you have this attitude, the staff at ComputerTraining.edu will work just as hard as you to achieve your goals. Take advantage of all the resources they offer, they are excellent.
This experience has helped me to grow as a person both personally and professionally. It was refreshing to feel like I was in control of education, not just along for the ride. The fact that I was into my career before I had even completed the program speaks for ComputerTraining.edu’s quality. With a focus on your goals and hard work, you will be rewarded at ComputerTraining.edu."

"After thirteen years of retail management I decided I needed a change. I needed a career where I could spend more time with the family and make the same if not more money. As I was listening to the radio I heard a commercial for ComputerTraining.edu. I took the Online Skills Challenge and the rest, as they say, is history!
Going back to school after thirteen years did make me nervous though. But as I found out, you are never too old to change your career path and learn a different skill set. ComputerTraining.edu is a very challenging six-month course, but the support you receive is top notch. The instructor is always available before class starts and really wants to help you succeed. The director of Career Services gives everything to make you ready to jump into the job market and be successful. The best of all is that ComputerTraining.edu is always asking for your input on how to improve the class and they are always looking to make everything even better.
My advice to someone who is thinking about signing up for the classes would be this. One, make sure you absolutely love to work with and on computers of every type and configuration. Two, don’t be scared, be excited about the opportunities and challenges ahead. Three, don’t give yourself false expectations, you only get back what you put into the classes and the program. And finally, if you have kids or extended family make sure you have them supporting you because you will need more time to yourself to be successful in the program.
Overall my experience with the ComputerTraining.edu program has been very positive and exciting. I have made some new friends and colleagues. I have successfully gained employment in the IT industry making more money than when I started my management career. I am making a better life for myself and my family doing something that I really enjoy. Good luck and have a great life!"

"I've always had the basic skills and knowledge to work with computers. But after coming out of the military I felt like I needed more of a challenge and more advanced skills to succeed in today's IT industry. I did not have the certifications to really prove to employers that I was worth my word regarding my abilities. This made my decision very easy to decide to make a change and pursue new goals. By enrolling and attending ComputerTraining.edu, the doors for more opportunities were opened and I it has given me the confidence I need to succeed in my new job. My new skills have allowed me to better interact with other IT colleagues as I have a greater understanding of IT issues related to my job.
My experience at ComputerTraining.edu was beyond what I expected and it has really paid off. The hands-on training, as well as a single dedicated instructor, proved to me that ComputerTraining.edu was all about commitment to both its students and the success of its program. Something you would never see in a traditional classroom setting.
For anyone considering entering the ComputerTraining.edu program, set goals for yourself and pursue them. Getting certified has made me much more marketable in the workforce. Making this investment in yourself will be very rewarding both now and in the future."
